Establishment-

Laksheswar Nodal High School was established on 2nd August, in the year of 1967.

The founders of this Educational institution are Mr. Kanhucharan Lenka who was also the former Railway Minister of Odisha and Late.Rai Kishore Mohanty, who was the former president of the school and also was a member of school managing committee.

The School provides education from Class I to Class X under the Board of Secondary Education (BSE).

At Laksheswar Nodal High School we offer students contemporary and progressive schooling with utmost priority to high quality education. The school is equipped with state –of- the- art facilities and aims to develop students as ambassadors of positive change who will help to build a better tomorrow.

The school was Named as "Laksheswar" by the name of Lord Shiva Temple named as "Laksheswar Temple". It is a very popular temple among the Phulanhara and near by cities. So it is named by This.

Towards this end the school endeavours to provide a large and dedicated teaching staff with a wide range of skills and interests, a varied and wide choice of activities – academic, aesthetic, and athletic – an environment enriched with the excitement of discovery, challenge and competitiveness and discipline based on the belief that responsibility comes before freedom.

 The word 'school' comes from the Greek word 'skhole' which originally meant 'leisure' It gradually evolved and today this physical entity has been accepted as the primary learning platform in every corner of the world. The Educational scenario has undergone a profound change and the catchword today is 'holistic learning'.Our institution provides all types of things to bring all round development of students. The staffs of our school are fully dedicated to import physical, mental and spiritual education and knowledge, though this may be insufficient for the students, but we try our level best to take remedial steps for them. There is a harmonious relationship between all the teachers and students, which results in good and outstanding performance in their academic career.

Information and knowledges related to processes, policies and procedures of school are provided by the Odisha Government under the concern of Sarbasikshya Abhiyan.

Mid-day Meal-

Mid Day meal programme. The Mid-day Meal Scheme is a school meal programme of the Government of India designed to improve the nutritional status of school-age children nationwide. Mid-day meal scheme is good for students because - it provides free meal and it is good for students health. This scheme is helpful for poverished of children. It supplies nutritious food to poor children which helps them to concentrate on studies better.
